Clare went on to play collegiately at the University of Michigan, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Economics, with a minor in Sustainability ('20). In 2021, Brush also earned a Masters of Management Degree from University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. She was a two-time Team Captain ('19 & '20), and was Michigan’s recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award two seasons in a row ('19 & '20), earning NFHCA Collegiate National Academic & Academic All-Big Ten Awards for four consecutive years. Clare is currently an Account Manager at American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM).

Tamer is an experienced small business owner of three businesses: Barn Field Hockey, specializing in skill development through semi-private training; Owner of CrossFit Dexter (2011-2015) focused on growing fitness and wellness opportunities within the local community; Co-owner of CrossFit Brighton (with husband Chris Tamer) from 2008-Present.
Tamer, as two-time captain of the University of Michigan field hockey team, assistant coach at Kent State University, and tenured head coach of the historied championship program at Dexter High School (2014, 2019, 2020, 2022 state titles) brings a wealth of first-hand experience to GLRFH. A key contributor to the Dexter Field Hockey community, President of the Michigan Chapter of USA Field Hockey (2020-2024), Club Coach at Pinnacle Field Hockey (2011-Present), and a small business owner, Keely has an array of experiences that make her the right fit as GLRFH's first Executive Director. Hired to guide the initiation of programs and fundraising goals, Keely is positioned to continue to effectively grow field hockey in the Great Lakes Region.

She will also run special events and trainings throughout the year.

After Pioneer, Nancy joined the Michigan Field Hockey Program as an Assistant. In 2001 Nancy assisted the Wolverines in winning the first NCAA National Championship ever won by a women's team at Michigan. In 2005 Nancy became Michigan's fifth Head Field Hockey Coach. Working collaboratively with Associate Head Coach, Tracey Fuchs, Nancy led the Wolverines to Big Ten Conference and Tournament Championships in 2005 and '07. The Wolverines earned NCAA final eight appearances in 2005 and '07. Personal recognitions during this time include USFHA Developmental Coach of the Year in 1999 and Big Ten Coach of the Year in 2007.
After retiring from the University of Michigan, Nancy returned to her roots and passion of developing young women for success on and off the pitch. As owner and director of Pinnacle Field Hockey Nancy has been instrumental in the competitive growth of the sport of field hockey in Michigan, placing three players on the Rise National Team in 2020. A NFHCA Lifetime Achievement recipient in 2019, Cox continues impact the Great Lakes Region.
In presenting to the Great Lakes Region Coaches, Nancy will draw on her wealth of experience to help coaches develop understanding of team structure as well as evaluating players and assessing positional roles for athletes.

Durante has helped to guide seven Spartans to All-Big Ten accolades, including three first team honorees and five players who have earned National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I All-West Region recognition.
Durante came to Michigan State after 10 seasons at Yale University. Serving as an assistant coach from 2005 to 2010, Durante was promoted to associate head coach in 2010, spearheading recruiting efforts while working mainly with goalkeepers and forwards. At Yale, Durante tutored five All-Ivy League goalkeeper selections while helping the Bulldogs increase their season goal totals for six straight years, including a school-record 69 goals in 2011 en route to earning a share of the Ivy League title.
In addition to her work at Yale, Durante also is involved with the United States Field Hockey Association (USFHA). She won a gold medal as an assistant coach for the Under-21 U.S. team at the Junior Pan American Games in October of 2008. Durante has coached in the Futures Program since 2002 and served as the Great Lakes Regional Futures Director from 2003-05. She has selected athletes for various USFHA programs, including the Under-16 national team and Futures Elite. Durante coached at the Junior Olympics from 2006-08 and 2010-13, winning a gold medal in 2012. Most recently, Durante served as an assistant coach for the USA Under-19 National Team and its successor, the USA Rise Team, taking home gold with the U-19 Team at the 2019 Young Women’s National Championship and claiming the bronze medal with the Rise squad at the 2021 Young Women’s National Championship.
Prior to Yale, Durante worked as a head coach for Quebec Field Hockey and as a video technician for Field Hockey Canada before transitioning to assistant field hockey coach at Ohio University in 2001.
A native of Lachine, Quebec, Durante is a 2000 graduate of the University of Alberta and was a five-year starter for the field hockey team there. She helped the Pandas to a silver medal in the CIAU Championship in 1997 and bronze medals in 1996 & '99.

After graduating with a B.A. in Education, Amy returned to Ann Arbor Pioneer to coach and pursue a career in education. Amy has enjoyed four different careers in education: as a coach, a high school teacher, church youth director and school counselor. Amy earned her M.A. in counseling from Eastern Michigan University in 2004. In 2005 Amy began her career with Novi Community Schools as a School Counselor and 3 years later, started Novi's first Varsity Field Hockey Team (2008) where she still coaches today with her husband Kevin. Together, they have built what is considered a top 5 high school program in the State of Michigan.
Kilgore established Live Oak Field Hockey Club in 2017 (Novi, Michigan) to provide opportunities for young athletes to learn the game of field hockey and improve their skills. Live Oak aims to open doors for field hockey players from Michigan to pursue the game during and after high school through playing, coaching and officiating.

Individual awards: 1st Team All American and Miss Kentucky Field Hockey 2008, as well as the prestigious student-scholar induction into the National Honor Society.
Kristen participated in two team championships at NIT's (National Indoor Tournament) and at USA Field Hockey's National Hockey Festival. She was selected for Junior National Camp, Futures Elite, Futures Development Invitational Camp, and Junior Olympics.
Parkhurst went on to play collegiate field hockey at Michigan State University (2009). During her time as a Spartan, the team won 2 Big Ten Championships (2009 & 2013) and participated in the NCAA Tournament in 2009, 2010 and 2013.
Kristen earned 2nd Team All-Big Ten (2010, 2012, 2013) and the 2014 Big Ten Medal of Honor. She was selected Team Captain for 2010, 2011 and 2012 and earned Academic All-Big Ten awards each year, from 2010-2013. Kristen graduated from MSU in 2014 with her Masters (M.S.) and Bachelors (B.S.) degrees in Biosystems Engineering.
Today, Kristen is an Engineer at DTE Vantage, and also Umpires Division I Field Hockey for the Big Ten, ACC and MAC conferences. (Henn) Parkhurst began her umpiring career in 2015.

Prior to arriving at Michigan, Langford served two seasons as an assistant coach at James Madison (2007-08), where he helped revitalize the Dukes' program over his brief tenure. with JMU posted the third-best winning percentage in the nation (18-3), going undefeated in Colonial Athletic Association play for the first time in 13 years en route to its third straight CAA title and NCAA Tournament appearance.
A seven-year member of the USA Field Hockey men's national team. As team captain, he contributed to the men's national team's fifth-place showing at the 1999 Pan-American Games and, in 2001, was part of a team that qualified for the World Cup. After being selected as an alternate to the 1996 Olympic team, he lived and trained as an Elite Resident Athlete in the San Diego Olympic Training Center before heading off to Atlanta. Langford also played for the U.S. National Indoor team for five seasons (1997, 2001-03, '05), participating in the 2002 Indoor Pan-American Cup and the 2003 Indoor World Cup.
He is married to the former Maren Ford, who was a member of the USA Field Hockey national team. Together they own and operate Fer de Lance Field Hockey in Ann Arbor, MI. The couple was married in July 2011 and are parents to son Silas and daughter Reese.

Lead the Big Ten in game winning goals and defensive saves 2007 A graduate from Middleburg High School, Federoff (Weisen) is still the school’s all-time leading scorer with 94 goals and 60 assists. During her standout high school career, she was named a High School All-American following her junior and senior seasons and a Pennsylvania All-State selection following each of her four seasons.
Federoff is a graduate with honors from Penn State University with a BS in Kinesiology with a concentration and certification in Health and PE. She also earned her Masters in Sport Studies: Sport Psychology while coaching full-time at Lock Haven University. Her coaching style and programs are a direct reflection of her playing, coaching and educational experiences.
Kristi Gannon Fisher - University of Michigan Assistant Coach Kristi Gannon Fisher is in her fourth season since returning to join her alma mater's coaching staff. Gannon Fisher, a two-time All-American and Big Ten Conference Athlete of the Year during her collegiate career (2000-03), previously spent five years with the Michigan staff, including a season as full-time assistant (2009) and two as the Wolverines' volunteer coach (2006-07). A four-year member of the USA Field Hockey women's national team (2003-06), Gannon Fisher boasts 45 international caps and a pair of international goals. She contributed to U.S. silver medals at the 2004 Pan American Cup and 2001 Americas Cup and competed in the 2004 Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Most recently, Gannon Fisher was a member of the U.S. squad at the 2006 World Cup Qualifier, where the USA claimed fourth to earn a berth to the premiere international event. A veteran of U.S. junior teams since 1998, Gannon Fisher also played on the 2001 Junior World Cup and 2000 Junior Pan Am teams. As a Wolverine student-athlete (2000-03), Gannon Fisher received NFHCA All-America first team honors during her last two seasons. She was a four-time selection to the All-Big Ten Conference first team, becoming the only the fourth player in conference history to earn such distinction. As a senior in 2003, Gannon Fisher was recognized as the Big Ten Player of the Year, adding to her 2000 conference Freshman of the Year trophy. Gannon Fisher was a pivotal member of the Wolverines' 2001 NCAA Championship team, earning All-Tournament team honors after scoring U-M's second goal against Maryland in the final game. She ranks among the top 10 in every major U-M career scoring category with 37 goals, 26 assists and 100 career points.

After graduation, Mo went on to accept a graduate assistantship at Tufts University ('90-'92), where she earned her Masters in Education while taking on the roles of assistant field hockey coach and women's lacrosse coach. From there, Mo accepted the Head Field Hockey and Lacrosse coaching positions at Bowdoin College ('92-'96), posting an impressive field hockey 48-16 record, and winning the 1995 ECAC Championship. From 1996-1999 Mo continued her coaching career at Rye Country Day School, and then in 2000, she accepted her current position as Head Varsity Coach at Darien High School (Darien, CT).
Her successes at Darien High School are numerous: FCIAC Coach of the Year 2003, 2007, 2008; CHSCA Coach of the year 2003, 2008; FCIAC Fall Sports Coach of the Year 2007; Outstanding Coach of the Year in CT 2009; NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year 2010; NFHCA National Coach of the Year 2010; Fairfield County Sportsperson of the Year 2011; NFHCA Southern NE Coach of the Year 2013, CT High School Hall of Fame inductee 2014; FCIAC Coaching Hall of Fame inductee 2016; New Agenda - Northeast Hall of Fame 2018.

As part of the Michigan coaching staff, White served as camp director and help countless athletes develop skills and attributes valued at the collegiate level. Her work included curriculum development, proper skill progressions, and camp coach development to execute the camp plan. With this background White is prepared to teach fundamental skills, what to look for as a coach to develop athletes with strong fundamentals and how to help the high school player and the high school game.
A Michigan alumna (2004-07), she excelled both on and off the field, earning NFHCA All-America distinction, Big Ten Conference Co-Player of the Year in 2007 and NFHCA National Academic Squad recognition.
White played 91 career games for the Wolverines, scoring 33 goals and 19 assists for 85 points. She led U-M in goals and points in each of her last two seasons, earning NFHCA All-West Region and Big Ten first team honors both years. A U-M team co-captain as a senior (2007), White was also named the Big Ten Co-Player of the Year and an NFHCA First Team All-American.
Originally from Paysandu, Uruguay, White graduated from U-M in 2008 with a degree in linguistics. She received a master's degree in sports management from Eastern Michigan University in 2014.
